Strong leadership and transparent governance are at the core of our program and its implementation. Our leaders bring clinical, technical and organizational expertise, and work together with openness, care, and shared responsibility for the success of Symbio. Together, we keep the needs of prescribers, clinicians, support services staff, and most importantly patients in New Brunswick at the centre of everything we do.

Prescriber Practice Committee
The objective of the Prescriber Practice Committee (PPC) is to ensure the solution is built to meet the needs of the health-care team, to drive adoption of the new CIS, and to manage ongoing modifications to the system. This is accomplished by engagement of colleagues through the procurement, design, testing, implementation, and optimization phases. Members engage their colleagues and provide feedback for decisions related to prescriber practice and act as ambassadors for Symbio. The PPC serves as one of three core decision-making committees under the Integrated Clinical Committee (ICC).

Clinical Practice Committee
The objective of the Clinical Practice Committee (CPC) is to provide expert guidance and support in the design and implementation of clinical standards to be used in the provincial CIS. Members advise on decisions related to clinical practice and act as ambassadors for Symbio. The CPC serves as one of three core decision-making committees under the ICC.
