Strong leadership and transparent governance are at the core of our program and its implementation. Our leadership team brings clinical, technical, and health system expertise, alongside clear accountability and meaningful collaboration to guide this transformation. Together, they ensure that the unique needs of New Brunswick’s prescribers, clinicians and patients are at the centre of our Symbio program.

Prescriber Practice Committee
The objective of the Prescriber Practice Committee (PPC) is to ensure the solution is built to meet the needs of the health care team, to drive adoption of the new CIS, and to manage ongoing modifications to the system. This is accomplished by engagement of colleagues through the procurement, design, testing, implementation, and optimization phases. Members engage their colleagues and provide feedback for decisions related to prescriber practice and act as ambassadors for the Symbio program. The PPC serves as one of three core decision-making committees under the Integrated Clinical Committee (ICC).
Clinical Practice Committee
The objective of the Clinical Practice Committee (CPC) is to provide expert guidance and support in the design and implementation of clinical standards to be used in the provincial CIS. Members advise on decisions related to clinical practice and act as ambassadors for the Symbio program. The CPC serves as one of three core decision-making committees under the ICC.
